 In 2009, the Finnish maker introduced the Nokia Booklet 3G. The primary PC from Nokia, with a 10.1-inch screen and Atom processor. Over 10 years have passed from that point forward and the organization has changed a ton. The Nokia PureBook 14 comes with a 14-inch panel with FullHD resolution. The company promises a screen ratio of 86%, with viewing angles of 178º. Most notable is the addition of Dolby Vision support in color reproduction.

It is a lightweight laptop, weighing 1.1 kilograms and 16.8 millimeters thick. It does not stand out especially for its power, but for trying to become an affordable and attractive option for those who are looking for a laptop with good autonomy and design.

Inside there is a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor. Specifically the i5-10210U model with four cores, 1.6 GHz base frequency and turbo up to 4.2 GHz. For storage there are 512 GB SSD, the RAM goes up to 8 GB DDR4 and the graphics are the Intel UHD 620, without the option of accessing a higher version with NVIDIA or AMD graphics at the moment.

At the level of connectivity, the PureBook X14 comes with two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port and a USB type C port. Additionally, there are Ethernet, mini-jack, HDMI, card reader and facial recognition via webcam.

The PureBook X14’s backlit keyboard offers 1.4 millimeter key travel and also supports Dolby Atmos through the built-in stereo speakers.

With a 46.7 Whr battery, the Nokia PureBook X14 promises up to 8 hours of battery life. While for charging there is a 65W charger.

Vipul Mehrotra, VP of Nokia Partnerships, explains that “the launch of the Nokia brand in this new product category is a testament to our successful collaboration with Flipkart”. The new Nokia PureBook X14 will go on sale through the Indian retailer.

Its official price is 59,990 Indian rupees, about $810 at the direct exchange rate. The laptop is already available for pre-order, in a single matte black color.
